48 Hour Weekend Liver, Colon and Kidney Detox that Will Remove All Toxins and Fat from Your Body!!!

48 Hour Weekend Liver, Colon and Kidney Detox that Will Remove All Toxins and Fat from Your Body!!!

Detox methods find great application in people at any age. Hippocrates swore in their power, and every culture had its own routine.

Today, most people opt for a detox diet. Most of these promote weight loss, but health experts don’t really support their use. Low-calorie diet regimens slow down metabolism and you end up dealing with severe deficiencies.

Detox diets often cause dehydration, fatigue, nausea, dizziness and colon issues.

The human body is designed to cleanse itself. This detoxifying system is based on the synergy of your kidneys, liver, and colon.

Kidneys purify blood, and flush toxins through urine. Your colon eliminates toxins before they get to harm the body. The liver stands in the first defense line, and acts like a natural filter. It stops toxins from entering the blood stream.

Your body needs to get all the right nutrients. We suggest that you try this magnificent 48-hour colon cleanse. It involves eating foods that optimize the function of your natural filters. You are supposed to prepare and eat the following meals and snacks for two days in a row.

Breakfast: Quinoa and prunes

Quinoa is abundant in protein, phosphorus, and fiber. Prunes are packed with fiber and sorbitol, known for its laxative effect.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 1/3 cup prunes, chopped
  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseed oil
  • 1 cup water
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • ¼ cup rice milk

Preparation:

Put your water, quinoa, nutmeg and ginger in a small pot. Stir well, and bring the mixture to a boil. Turn the heat on low, put the lid on, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add in your prunes and rice milk. Put the lid back on, and simmer for additional 5 minutes. Stir in a tablespoon of flaxseed oil, and serve.

Detox drinks and snacks (between meals)

Veggie snack
You can eat as much as you can. Slice and dice cucumbers, celery, radishes or any other vegetable. Drizzle some olive oil, add in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Detox drink – Lemon, pineapple, and pomegranate
Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon
  • ¾ cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 3 cups water

All you have to do is combine the ingredients together. These ingredients will give you about 4 servings.

Detox drink – Pineapple, ginger, and kale
Bromelain in pineapple enhances digestion. Ginger boosts the production of bile, and kale cleanses kidneys.
Ingredients:

  • ½ cup pineapple chunks
  • Ginger (1/4 inch)
  • A bunch of kale
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • 2 large cucumbers

Juice the ingredients, and enjoy!

Lunch – Fruit smoothie
Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup frozen blueberries
  • ¼ banana
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseed or chia, ground
  • ½ cup ice
  • ½ cup plain, unsweetened almond milk

Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Quercetin in blueberries is a flavonoid that boosts immunity and optimizes the function of the liver. Flaxseeds are packed with omega-3 fatty acids. These fats nourish the brain. The tiny seeds are also packed with fiber which provides optimal bowel movement. Vitamin B6 in bananas cleanses liver.

Dinner – Vegetable broth

Ingredients:

  • 1 cabbage, shredded
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 fennel bulb, chopped (fronds and stalks)
  • 2 red onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. caraway seeds
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shitake mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup parsley, coarsely chopped
  • 4 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp. fresh oregano, chopped

Add the ingredients in a large pot. Bring the broth to a boil, and turn the heat on low. Simmer for an hour. Serve with freshly chopped parsley on top.

Cabbage detoxifies liver and kidneys. Garlic promotes optimal liver function, and stimulates your gall bladder. Fennel stimulates the flow of bile, and shitake mushrooms boost liver enzymes.

Sauerkraut and apple slices work great as a side dish for the veggie broth. Sauerkraut is a natural probiotic, and does wonders to your gastrointestinal tract. Apples improve the function of your kidneys and liver.

Extra tips
